After finishing the novel, reflect on Saul’s love for hockey throughout his narrative. How does his passion for this activity support him through difficult times? Consider an activity you pursue with enthusiasm, perhaps the activity you discussed in your Pre-reading “Icebreaker.” What similarities can you find between your interest and Saul’s with regard to its impact?
