Ed Yong is a British science journalist whose work has appeared in many major publications (The New Yorker, Scientific America, National Geographic), although he most frequently writes for The Atlantic, where he is a permanent staff member. His work has garnered numerous science communication and science journalism awards. I Contain Multitudes is his first book. Originally published in 2016, it was named among the 100 Notable Books of 2016 by The New York Times and made several other best-of-2016 lists.
